Jordan Goetz, M.D. Assistant Clinical Professor School of Medicine Professional Background

Dr. Jordan Goetz received a Bachelor of Science Magna Cum Laude in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Albany and is a graduate of The Chicago Medical School. Dr. Goetz did his residency in Internal Medicine at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut (a Yale University School of Medicine program). He subsequently served three years as a medical officer in the United States Air Force and currently holds reserve status.

Dr. Goetz is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, is a founding Diplomate of the American Board of Holistic Medicine, and is Board Certified in Medical Acupuncture. He holds a position as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Goetz holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor at both Yale University School of Nursing and Quinnipiac University School of Health Sciences, serving as a clinical preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students. Dr. Goetz has been an instructor for the New York Medical College Program in Medical Acupuncture and is guest lecturer for Briarwood College’s Certificate Course in Acupuncture in Southington, Connecticut. Dr. Goetz is Second Author of Incorporating Acupuncture Into Medical School Curriculum: An Innovative, Successful Model¹.

Dr. Goetz is an Attending Physician at MidState Medical Group, Yalesville, Connecticut where he practices Internal Medicine and Primary Care, Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care Medicine, and Medical Acupuncture. He is Medical Director and Founder of Connecticut Holistic and Integrative Medicine of Groton, Connecticut.
